Frequently asked questions
How much does a law firm website cost?
From £1,995 for a Starter site, £3,995 for a Practice site and £7,500 for a Group site, plus £65 a month for hosting and care.
How long does it take?
2 to 4 weeks for most firms, 3 to 6 weeks for multi-office firms.
Who writes the content?
We do, from your written brief. Your fee earners check it for legal accuracy before it goes live.
Do you know the SRA website rules?
Yes. We build the price, complaints and regulatory information pages the SRA Transparency Rules describe, and install the clickable SRA badge. Your firm and its COLP stay responsible for what is published.
Who owns the website?
You do. The domain is registered in your firm's name, and if you leave we transfer the site to you free of charge.
Can you keep our Google rankings when we move to a new site?
We map every page that ranks or brings in enquiries and redirect it properly. Migration is included on Practice and Group packages.
Will the site work with our case management system?
We can route enquiries into Clio, LEAP, Osprey Approach or Actionstep where those systems allow it, or to the right team's inbox.
Can you guarantee we will rank first on Google?
No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. Google decides rankings. We show you the keywords, how hard each one is, and your progress every month.
Can you get us mentioned by ChatGPT?
We can make your site much easier for AI tools to read and quote, and track how they describe your firm. No one can guarantee an AI citation.
Do you run Google Ads?
Yes. Management starts at £497 a month plus a £495 setup fee, and your ad spend goes directly to Google.
Do you write posts for social media?
No. We focus on the website, search, AI visibility and Google Ads. Our guide to law firm social media covers what works if you do it in-house.
Do you work with barristers?
Yes. We build websites for barristers' chambers and individual barristers, who are regulated by the Bar Standards Board rather than the SRA.
Is there a contract?
The build is a one-off project. Monthly services are rolling with 30 days' notice and no minimum term.
How long is a quote valid?
Seven days from the date we send it.
