Fewer weak points for attackers
Security monitoring
We hear about problems before your clients do
Backups

One mailbox on your domain
An email address on your firm's domain
One minor change a year
A profile, a price update or a paragraph
Why not just pay for cheap hosting?
You can buy hosting for a few pounds a month, and we will not pretend otherwise. What the £65 buys is the domain in your name, the monitoring, the backups and someone who answers when something breaks. For a regulated firm handling client enquiries, that is worth having.
Price updates and the SRA rules
When your fees for an SRA-listed service change, the website needs updating too. Price updates count as minor changes. Send them in writing and we update the page.
Frequently asked questions
Is the care plan optional?
Every site we build is hosted and looked after on it. That is how we keep the site secure and working.
What counts as a minor change?
A new fee earner profile, a price update, a phone number or a rewritten paragraph. Anything larger is quoted in writing before it starts.
What happens if we leave?
You give 30 days' notice. The domain is already in your name, and we transfer the site to you free of charge.
Can we update the site ourselves?
Yes, profiles and news can be edited by your team. The care plan covers anything you would rather we did.
Who do we call if something breaks?
Email us at hello@raisethebarwebsites.co.uk or use the contact form. We reply within one working day.
