Websites for solicitors

Personal injury website design for firms competing with national claims brands

Raise The Bar Websites designs websites for personal injury firms that compete on specific claim types and local trust rather than national ad budgets. Every page is built to turn an injured, sceptical visitor into a phone call, with no win no fee explained in plain English. Builds start at £1,995.

Why is personal injury the hardest legal market online?

  • "No win no fee solicitors" is searched around 12,100 times a month in the UK (DataforSEO, October 2026).
  • Google's suggested cost per click for personal injury searches is around £66, the highest of any practice area we checked.
  • The top results are owned by national claims firms with large TV and ad budgets.

A smaller firm wins online by being more specific, more local and more trustworthy than the national brands.

How can a small PI firm build trust online?

National claims brands are well known, but many people distrust them. A local firm can win on the opposite: named lawyers, an office people can visit, honest explanations of what the client keeps from their damages, and clear answers to common questions. Specific pages, such as "cycling accident claims in south London", also give Google and AI tools a precise reason to recommend you.

Frequently asked questions

Can we advertise 'no win no fee'?

Yes, but it needs to be explained properly. Clients should understand what they might still pay, such as a success fee or insurance premium deducted from damages. The SRA requires publicity to be accurate and not misleading, and the CAP Code applies to ads.

Can we contact people who have had an accident?

Not with unsolicited approaches. The SRA bans unsolicited approaches to members of the public, and referral fees in personal injury cases have been banned since 2013. Your website has to attract clients, not chase them.

How can a small PI firm compete with national claims firms online?

By not competing on the same terms. National brands own 'personal injury solicitor'. A local firm can win on specific claim types and places, such as 'cycling accident solicitor Wandsworth' or 'workplace injury claim Basildon'.

Should a PI firm use Google Ads?

Often, yes, but carefully. Personal injury clicks are among the most expensive in Google Ads, around £66 suggested cost per click in our October 2026 research, so every ad needs its own landing page and call tracking.

Do you build claim calculators?

We can, but compensation calculators carry real risk of misleading clients. If you want one, the figures and wording must come from your firm and be signed off by your COLP.
